Advertising Campaign Manager
Refine, Create, and Evaluate Advertising Campaigns
In the realm of online retail and marketplaces, the assortment of available products has grown exponentially, with hundreds of brands offering tens of thousands of products. However, amidst this vast selection, brands face a significant challenge in getting noticed.
Limited by small budgets and hindered by unfavorable algorithms, they struggle to cut through the noise and gain visibility. The prevailing solution to this problem is for brands to pay for their discovery.

Low Fidelity Sketches
In order to picture the prototype before designing it on Figma, we made sketches to send amongst the designer team to figure out how we want the layout to be. Since the other designer on the team only had roughly 24 hours to work on the project, we decided to split the dashboard idea amongst the two of us, and each of us work on the other two screens (Campaign Portal and Analytics).
Low Fidelity Wireframes
After agreeing on the layout, we designed the low fidelity wireframes. Drawing inspiration from Amazon Ad Campaigns, as discussed with the client, to ensure that vendors and retailers don’t have to relearn a new portal to manage their campaigns. See all low fidelity wireframe screens
here.
Color Palette
Regarding the color palette, the client provided us with a set color palette to work with after we showed the low fidelity wireframes. After trying to work many different combinations using the color scheme, the team did not feel comfortable moving forward with it.

New Color Palette
See below for an example of the low fidelity wireframe using the old color palette:

High Fidelity Wireframes
Once the branding and revisions to the wireframes were completed, I added the UI elements to the high fidelity prototype via Figma. See high fidelity screens

As I have mainly done self projects related to my UX bootcamp, working on this project as the lead designer for a client was invigorating. I was able to see how sponsored advertising campaigns work, and how I am able to handle short project deadlines for a client. With that knowledge, it helped me to understand better on how retailers utilize ad campaigns to boost their sales on a wide scale market like Amazon. Projects like this remind me of my passion for retail and how I thrive under the pressure. A takeaway I got out of this project was that I don’t always have to reinvent the wheel, and creating a product that doesn’t take much to learn is just as important as creating something innovative. Because Fiteo is still a growing company, it is best to give it room to grow and not design more than I am supposed to.
Next steps will include:
- Usability Testing with the updated prototype
- Explore implementing the dashboard for different retailer apps/websites
- Continue to update, iterate, and maintain product
